Route Pilot Pro ("we", "us") provides voice-guided navigation for oversize/overweight moves on state-permitted routes, through our mobile app and this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Route Pilot Pro app and routepilotpro.com.
01Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (or Apple's private relay address) to create and maintain your account.
- Permit data. When you scan a permit QR code, we process the permit's contents — permit number, route, load dimensions, valid dates, restrictions, and vehicle details — to display and navigate the approved route.
- Location data. During an active drive, we use your device's precise location to position you on the approved route, give turn-by-turn guidance, and warn you if you leave the route. Location is used while the app is in use for navigation; we do not collect your location when you are not using the app.
- Subscription status. Purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit) or Google (Play Billing). We receive your subscription status — never your payment card details.
- Device and diagnostics. Basic device information, crash reports, and performance data so we can keep the app reliable.
02How we use it
- Provide the core service: load permits, display approved routes, and navigate them with voice guidance.
- Keep your permits available on your account across devices.
- Manage your subscription and restore purchases.
- Diagnose crashes, improve reliability, and provide support.
- Meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your location for advertising.
03Where your data lives
Account and permit data are stored with Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, and Storage) on Google Cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit. Access is restricted to your authenticated account.
04Sharing
- Service providers. Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication), Apple and Google (sign-in and billing), and map/routing providers used to render navigation.
- Legal. If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- No data sales. We never sell personal information to third parties.
05Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Completed and expired permits remain on your account so you can reference past moves. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted from our production systems, except where retention is required by law.
06Delete your account
You can delete your account and associated data at any time:
- In the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, permits, and personal data.
- By email: write to support@routepilotpro.com from your account email and we will process the deletion.
Active subscriptions are managed through your Apple or Google account and should be cancelled there; deleting your Route Pilot Pro account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@routepilotpro.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
08Children
Route Pilot Pro is built for commercial drivers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
09Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
