These terms govern your use of the Route Pilot Pro mobile app and routepilotpro.com. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you use Route Pilot Pro on behalf of a company, you agree on that company's behalf.
01The service
Route Pilot Pro converts a state-issued oversize/overweight (OS/OW) movement permit into turn-by-turn, voice-guided navigation along the route the permit defines. Features include permit scanning, route review, restriction summaries, live navigation, and off-route alerts.
02Accounts
- You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be legally able to drive the move in question; the app is built for commercial drivers and their teams.
- Keep your account information accurate, and notify us of unauthorized use.
03Subscriptions & billing
- Route Pilot Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription: $19.99 / mo or $199 / yr, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not in the app.
- Use Restore purchase in the app to recover an active subscription on a new device.
- Prices may change; we will notify you in advance, and changes apply from your next renewal. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies.
04Navigation, accuracy & safety
- Routes, restrictions, and permit details are derived from the permit you scan and from third-party map and routing data. Either can contain errors, and road conditions change. Always verify against the issued permit.
- If the app's guidance ever conflicts with the permit, posted signage, a law-enforcement or DOT instruction, or safe driving judgment — the permit, the signage, the officer, and your judgment control. Not the app.
- Do not interact with the screen while driving. Voice guidance exists so your eyes stay on the road.
- GPS positioning is approximate and can degrade in tunnels, urban canyons, and severe weather.
05Acceptable use
- Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or scrape the service, or use it to build a competing dataset.
- Don't upload content you have no right to, or use the service to violate any law or permit condition.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or threaten its integrity.
06Intellectual property
The app, site, brand, and design are owned by Route Pilot Pro and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Your permits remain yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to store and display them to you.
07Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ROUTES, RESTRICTIONS, OR PERMIT INTERPRETATIONS ARE COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.
08Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTE PILOT PRO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING FINES, CITATIONS, PERMIT VIOLATIONS, CARGO OR VEHICLE DAMAGE, OR LOST PROFITS — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
09Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 06–08 survive termination.
10Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
